Conclusion

So, did it help with overclocking? Only by adding a few more ram mhz, but it does look better! After looking for other results on the internet I found that generally this won't help you overclock your GPU what-so-ever. Sometimes it will help you to get 1-10 mhz more, but this is in rather rare instances. As for the ram, in many situations it does help people to get an extra 5-20 mhz. However, sometimes the ram is already maxed out before you attach the heatsinks, not because of heat, but because it just can't take anymore.

Our GPU did overclock to our goal, it runs 275mhz on the core and 550mhz on the memory perfectly stable (ti4400 speeds). An overclock which is not bad for a 250/444 stock setting. A maximum overclock of 282 core and 590 memory can be reached, but this is when the artifacts start to appear.

One interesting thing to note, is that many people who did get a good overclocking boost really didn't have great case air flow. Those people with good case flow didn't receive as much of a difference. Also, being a slightly larger and faster fan than the stock fan, this does produce more noise. However, those of you with several case fans, or a high rpm CPU fan probably won't even notice.

I do recommend this product to anyone that is trying to get everyone ounce of overclocking power out of their video card, or anyone who wants things running as cold as possible. Also, those of you who have a plain looking GF4 may like one just to spruce it up a little. However, to the average users out there this really isn't a necessary product.

  Pros:
·May allow some extra overclocking
·Easy to install if your heatsink isn't attached with some type of adhesive
·Feels good to know it keeps it cooler

·Looks good

Cons:
·Louder than stock fan
·Doesn't always help overclocking

·Core and ram heatsink colors don't quite match

Final Score: C
