Conclusions

Overall, I really do like this board. The only disadvantages to it are a few layout problems (power connectors need to be removed to add/remove ram, and there are LOTS of transistors surrounding the cpu socket but they don't interfere). Asus has also released several variations of the motherboard including -DX, which allows a 533mhz fsb for newer pentium 4 processors. As for overclocking, this board does have good promise, although I only got 300 mhz, I have seen cases where people have gained 600-800+ and run the FSB higher than 533mhz.

As I meantioned before this board has tons of extras, which makes things really nice, and will save you money in the long run (no expensive p4 psu needed, easy to add memory card readers, etc.).

Another thing I have to stress is this board's stability. After using it for about 5 months now, it has never given me a problem. Which makes me a very happy camper.

  Pros:
·Excellant stability
·Plenty of extras
·Great memoory overclocking

Cons:
·A little crowded in places
·Must be careful with cpu heatsink/fan

·A little old, only supports 400mhz FSB

Final Score: B
