Here’s a cool mod, swapping out the plain old red power LED light for a water clear blue one. I feel it’s a must for any modded case.


Behind this door is where the floppy drive lives.


In this figure, I cut the window out using a roto zip as a table router – makes for nice clean cuts with Lexan.


This was the hardest part to do in the whole modding project – the plexi glass base. The groove in the centre was machined ¾ inch deep to accommodate a CC in the centre. All the edges of the plexi were flame polished.


Here’s the result I got – the light transmits to the edges giving it a nice appearance.
