Of course the addition of a case window at the top with a 92mm blow hole is one of the best ways to get rid of heat.


This is the area shown above the power supply, which originally housed a 80mm fan. I cut the hole larger to accommodate a 92mm fan.


Here’s a good modding trick, tucking the wire inside the molding for the fan.


In this figure, it shows the drive cage and all the drives completely concealed behind plexi mirror. Underneath I left an opening with a fan to vent the heat from the drives.


In this figure, I added a 92mm blow hole to help cool the big heat sink on the Radeon 9700.


These are the case temperatures I recorded after a heavy thrashing of UT2003 – not bad!
